F2A - Speed

F2A-Speed. The goal is to fly a distance of 1 km in the shortest time as possible. Often a speed of more than 300 km/h are achieved.

F2B - Kunstflug

F2B- Aerobatic. A program of 16 maneuvers must be flown in between 6 min. A jury valuates the flight.

F2C - Team Race

F2C-Team Race. A Team consists of one pilot and one mechanic. Three teams compete with each other. 100 rounds make one race. As the size of the tank is limited breaks must be taken. The mechanic catches the model, fills up fuel and start the engine as fast as possible.

F2D - Combat

F2D-Combat Two pilots in the inner circle try to cut the 2m long streamer from each others model, trying to make as many cuts as possible. Cuts and time of flight are counted. Ground times, which happen a lot by crashes (as the models move very fast) and by collisions, make minus points.

F4B - Scale

F4B - Scale The models should be as close to the original as possible, because every difference makes minus points during the judgement the construction. Afterwards a determined program is flown. The points of the flight are added up to the construction points.

BCD - Basic Carrier Deck

BCD - Basic Carrier Deck. On a deck the pilot starts an lands his model. One has to fly fast and slow rounds, the flight time makes points. Touching the ground equals a water landing. The difficulty is to land exactly on the deck using only an arresting hook and ropes.

MTR - Mini-Team-Race a German national Class

MTR - Mini-Team-Race. It is only a nacional discipline. Basically it is the same as FAI-Team_race, but using smaller and slower models. The rules are not quiet as strict as in Team Race, because of that the fun factor is gigantic. This discipline became pretty popular. It is nice to see, that by now people from all controlline classes meet to practice MTR just for fun.
