At this point in time the exchange rate of the US Dollar is quite attractive and allows the purchase of US goods at low cost. Despite expenses for airfreight and import handling having gone up considerably, buying control line articles in the USA now is a good deal indeed. The careful study of items offered is well worthwhile:

Please find attached my current terms and a list of items purchased frequently. The issue of the “Strega” ARF & ARC box being too big for shipping overseas will soon be solved by sending the wing in halves and Brodak now looks forward to resume shipping of “Strega’s” to Europe by August 2008. Unfortunately a major US supplier for Balsawood has been destroyerd in a recent fire. As a result of this, specific types of Brodak kits may not be available for a period of time. On request, I will of course be glad to investigate availability on a per case base.

Der tiefe Kurs des US-Dollars ermöglicht uns heute Material aus den USA günstiger zu beschaffen ist. Wenn auch die Luftfracht- und Abfertigungskosten mittlerweile recht hoch sind, so ist es gegenwärtig doch sehr interessant in den USA einzukaufen. Das Studium des umfangreichen Angebotes von Brodak lohnt sich also sehr:

In der Beilage meine aktuellen Bedingungen und eine Liste häufig verlangter Artikel. Das Problem mit der Grösse der Transportbox für den “Strega” (ARF & ARC) wird durch eine Teilung der Tragfläche gelöst werden und Brodak geht heute davon aus, den “Strega” ab August 08 wieder nach Europa liefern zu können. Leider ist vor kurzem ein Lieferwerk für Balsaholz in den USA durch einen Brand völlig zerstört worden. Deswegen sind einige Typen von Brodak Baukästen zur Zeit nicht in jedem Fall ab Lager lieferbar. Bei Bedarf bin ich gerne bereit im Einzelfall die Liefermöglichkeit abzuklären.
